Norrie Jackson and Steve O'Donnell are running a joint London Scottish/Scottish Business Network gathering at the Beauchamp Restaurant (downstairs bar), 43/44 Beauchamp Place, London SW3 1NX, from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm. The purpose of the event is to network with other businesspeople and to hear a 15-minute speech from me (Steve O’Donnell, COO of the Scottish Business Network), who will share my experience of three US IPOs and two trade sales.

This first event will finish at 7.00 pm, so that we can make the three-minute walk to St. Columba's Church for 7.15 pm to hear Peter Burns and Rob Robertson discuss and take questions about their newly released book, “This is Murrayfield” (100 years of history in 100 matches).

If you would like to attend the networking event at Beauchamp Restaurant, please email Norrie at normandjackson@btinternet.com.

Now to the follow-on event:

In addition, and as part of the St. Andrew’s Day Book Festival week, Scots in London are holding a rugby event (see attached) at St. Columba’s Church of Scotland, Pont Street, SW1X 0BD, on Thursday, 27th November 2025, at 7.15 pm.

Also, there will be Ian Smith (8 international caps for Scotland), whose book “A full-back slower than your average prop” has been critically acclaimed. A dentist by profession, he is now, at 81, a TikTok sensation with over 800,000 followers.

The evening will be hosted by former Scotland International and Sports Broadcaster, Rory Lawson.

Tickets for the book club event (£12.65) can be purchased via Scots In London.
