Alistair Wood, Clerk to the Trustees at London Scottish Regimental Trustees

Alistair Wood addresses the audience at the London Scottish Regiment's newly refurbished home.

Alistair spoke with Russell Dalgleish about what the Regiment has done for Scots through it's history and how it is planning to continue helping them in the 21st century.

Russell wrote up his experience spending time with Alistair after the event.

The SBN Co-Founder said: "Uniquely on this occasion our members and guests will be treated to a fare of Scottish drinks and music from the magical Iona Consort, one of the UK's most exciting emerging vocal ensembles. In addition, on the evening, guests will have unique access to the London Scottish Regiment museum which contains items dating back to 1860. As our last event before the 100th anniversary of the ending of the First World War it is fitting that we will be in the presence of so many memories of Scottish soldiers who served in that conflict."
